Broadoaks Residential Care Home Achieves ‘Good’ Rating from Care Quality Commission.

We are proud to announce that Broadoaks dementia care specialist residential home has received an upgraded rating of ‘Good’ from the Care Quality Commission (CQC), following a recent inspection. This rating is a significant achievement, reflecting the hard work and commitment of the entire Broadoaks team to provide high-quality, compassionate care.

The CQC is an independent regulator responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and regulating health and social care services in the UK. Its assessments focus on safety, care quality, leadership, and resident well-being. Broadoaks’ latest inspection noted marked improvements across key areas, including resident care, staff training, and the creation of a warm, supportive environment. Previously rated as ‘Needs Improvement,’ Broadoaks has since undertaken comprehensive measures to enhance the level of care, introducing new care protocols, personalised dementia-focused activities, technical systems and increased staff support and training.

“We’re incredibly proud of this new rating, which reflects the dedication, hard work, and compassion that our team shows every day,” said Tanya Crosby, Operations Manager of Broadoaks Residential Care Home. “Our goal has always been to create a safe, enriching, and supportive environment where residents feel valued, and this rating is a testament to our team’s unwavering commitment to quality care.”
